Bingo Networks

Online bingo operators often use third party bingo software to run their games. This means that the bingo software that William Hill offers may appear to be very similar although slightly different in design to say Ladbrokes. In fact what is happening is that they use the same third party bingo software and this means that while it appears you are playing with William Hill players, you may actually be playing with players from several different sites. The content moderators are also often the same.

What does this mean to you? Well playing bingo with an operator in a shared network is good for a number of reasons; where the software and multi-player network is shared across several sites it means that there will be more players online, ensuring richer rooms and a guarantee that the game and payouts are well managed by a third party specialist that get paid to do exactly that.

Also, in many cases the jackpots too are shared. In particularly the Clover Rollover progressive jackpot was advertised on many sites during 2010 with an industry record £3m+ jackpot. This was eventually won on Christmas Eve 2010 by a Bet365 Bingo player and we noticed that the Clover Rollover jackpot advertised on all other sites was back down to start again at £500k.

There are some operators that use their own bingo software such as Gala Bingo and XBingo, which offer a unique bingo experience. The main reason that they do not use third party software is that these companies have enough customers, finance and expertise to do everything themselves. For example Gala Bingo is by far the largest operator in the UK (this is due to their land-based operations and household brand name) and it is not necessary for them to share players from other networks since they have one of the largest pools of players out there.

Below is a list of the main third party software providers and bingo networks.

  • Virtue Fusion
  • Gamesys
  • Cozy Games
  • Cashcade Games
  • Dragonfish
