Review by Alex Eliades, Updated 8th August 2015
bgo Bingo was first launched as XBingo back in 2011 and quickly become a popular site and amassed a decent following. The site did a lot of stuff very differently to most of the run of the mill bingo sites out there and is a 100% unique offering. bgo Bingo was launched with the fantasy theme that was inherited from the quirky XBingo brand, which was well designed and appealed to many. The launch of bgo in October 2012 was much more than a rebrand of XBingo to bgo Bingo but the bgo brand itself is moving into other areas of gaming and bgo now offer a full suite including Bingo, Vegas (slots), Casino, Sports Betting, Lotto and Macau. So even though bgo is a multigame gambling operator like Bet365 it was born a child of XBingo.
The main difference with bgo Bingo and other operators is that a very experienced team developed their own game software that cannot be found elsewhere. This makes for a unique game that attracts people as most other sites run using on one of the several mainstream software platforms. Their in-house developed games have received excellent feedback from players and the only real complaints I have found are in some forums where a couple of players have complained that they don’t win often enough. Without running an RNG test it’s hard to gauge whether or not their pay out rate is below par or if those particular complaints are from people that had an unlucky losing streak.
bgo Bingo offers a loyalty programme to reward existing players and keep them coming back dubbed the bgo Platinum Club, which replaced the XBingo reload bonuses. The bgo Platinum Club gives loyal players the chance to earn points and get weekly cash back, play free bingo, win bigger jackpots and claim more bonuses. This also entitles top tier players to VIP support, raised playing limits, special events and even a champagne and lobster dinner for the high rollers.
bgo Bingo has a very active site that feels live, which is due to the fact that the special upcoming bingo games are published by game type, name and with a countdown time till the games start. This is further broken down by free bingo, bingo, jackpots, vip bingo and super jackpots. Also, bgo always offer very regular special promotions and games taking place on a daily, weekly and monthly schedule and the latest are always published and updated in the promotions section. Players comment that there is always something different going on at bgo Bingo to keep them entertained and make them feel part of the community.
The site is licensed by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission, which is considered to be a top UK white list jurisdiction and is an indication that the operation is well managed with financial backing.
