New Bingo Sites for 2011

Written by Alex Eliades, 17th Nov 2011

We all know that online bingo is now a big thing in the UK and what was traditionally a game for grandmothers has now hit the wider market and is played by anyone between 18 – 80 that has a PC and likes browsing the Internet.

For 2011 as with previous years there have been a number of new sites that have learned the tricks from bingo pioneers such as Gala Bingo and Virtue Fusion and have taken that and added an extra element of sophistication to their offering. This year we have seen some small newcomers but we have also seen some major investment from big boys to get new and even better bingo offerings off the ground and they have already amassed vast player numbers within months of launching and have even converted and kept players from the more well established operators.

The Mandalay Group that brought us the successful Costa Bingo a few years back, this year launched XBingo that has been what seems like an overnight success story from their launch in the Summer. We saw another big boy backed newcomer earlier this year, Bingostreet was launched earlier this year from Cassava Enterprises who are better known as the owners of 888 and bingo software provider Brigend. Again, like XBingo, Bingostreet has gained massive popularity in a short time with heavy TV advertising campaigns and promoted with a strong presence on bingo portals quickly becoming a major player. The other new offering worth noting and probably the most innovative has to be Bingocams, which as the name suggests is the first site to utilize video chat, capturing players expressions as they win the jackpots.

Other new bingo sites for 2011 also include Fancy Bingo and City Bingo both from Cassava Enterprises too, Fabulous Bingo from the creators of Sun Bingo and a few others. As we come across new bingo sites worth their salt they will be added to our list in due course.
