Littlewoods is very well known for running the football pools and also for their catalogue shop. With a trusted brand the company has branched out into online bingo with an experienced bingo partners, St Minvers. Littlewoods is behind the Vernons Bingo brand but it was re-branded from Littlewoods Bingo to Vernons Bingo early May 2012.

Their offering is feature rich and well developed when compared to a lot of other sites. St Minvers game software was switched with industry leading Virtue Fusion to provide the software and technically support the bingo games, which reassuringly ensures first class gameplay behind this major brand.

The graphics are good, sounds are excellent and there is a wide range of options. A focus has been placed on chat that is located in a large pane on the left containing a list of all players online. Gameplay is fast, fun and everything is animated and fluid. There are even mini-slots embedded into the main bingo game if you are waiting for the next round of bingo to commence.

£2 million of winnings are given away each month and there are a number of progressive and guaranteed jackpots. There are £1,000, £5,000 and £10,000 guaranteed jackpots running daily or weekly. Before the re-branding Littlewoods ran a series of bingo TV commericals and when filming an actor won £500 while playing for the ad, which got some publicity.

There is also a VIP club for regular players with several levels of membership including Diamond, Gold and Emerald. A community is also built around the VIP club with news and published winners for all members.

In addition to bingo, Vernons Bingo also offer Slots, Casino and Scratchards, which are also provided by St Minvers. There are 30+ other games that are all high quality with great graphics and sound resulting in very good and enticing gameplay. These games include Robin Hood, Monopoly, Desperados and Top Trumps branded slots as well as video poker, keno, roulette, blackjack and stud poker.

Some extras that Vernons offer include a community section containing things such as horoscopes, player galleries, wordsearch, spot the difference, chat moderator profiles, health and beauty, and 'Read all about it' news and details of days out. Another useful extra includes a desktop application that you can install providing information updates about upcoming jackpots and games due to run.
