Why Use Paypal + My Favourite 5 Paypal Bingo Sites
Written by Alex Eliades, 16th April 2013
Every time I go to make a purchase online I hope the site I buy from take Paypal because quite frankly I don’t want to put my bank card details into every single site I visit and it’s so much easier just to stick in my email and password to make a payment.
Now, when I want to have a game of bingo on the net I usually like to try a few different sites but I sometimes find that a lot of bingo sites don’t actually take Paypal. In this case I really don’t want to use my bankers card because not only will I have to put my card details into yet another site – again, but I don’t particularly like gambling transactions appearing on my bank statement. OK, it will show Paypal and then the merchant name but it doesn’t shout out “I am a gambler” to my bank as if I used my card directly with a bingo company rigged out of GIbraltar. Also, there is an extra level of protection should a dispute arise.
So, when possible I hunt out bingo sites that accept Paypal to make my life online that little bit easier, safer and to also help maintain a bit of privacy.
Back in the day PayPal didn’t process online gambling transactions due to the high risk nature involved. Thankfully as bingo is a soft form of gambling and as bingo brands have become much more credible this is no longer the case for the bigger names and bingo sites that accept paypal have become more widespread.
I have put together the list below of my favourite Paypal Bingo sites. If you don’t want to read through the list then just play on Betfred, they have an excellent offering, great customer service and run on my favourite Virtue Fusion software. If you want to try something different then read on.

Q&A on Using Paypal as a Payment Method
Q: How do I use PayPal as a payment method?
A: There is no special procedure; provided the bingo site you are on accepts Paypal you just need to go through the normal sign up procedure and when at the cashier you should have the Paypal option.
Q: Are there any additional charges for using Paypal?
A: There are no extra charges at any of the bingo sites I have played on. If in doubt use one of my recommendations above.
Q: I want to play on a bingo site not listed above, how do I know if they accept Paypal?
A: Most bingo sites list the payment options at the bottom of the homepage, usually you will see a Paypal logo there if they accept Paypal. If not, you might want to check the FAQ or contact support before signing up.
Q: Am I protected by Paypal's payment guarantee
A: You are protected by Paypal's payment guarantee, which in this case guarantees you that your money will end up in you bingo funds. Once your bingo account is funded however, there is no obligation for Paypal to get them back should something go wrong after that point.
Q: If I deposit by PayPal, how can I withdraw?
A: Most online gambling companies will only allow you to withdraw via the method you have deposited with, unless you are a regular customer. This is to prevent money laundering and fraud. Therefore, you should expect to withdraw the funds by Paypal if that is how you uploaded them.
